TIME - a 2019 Voices Exhibition
(Above) Pieces of seven candidates assessed by
the NAFA Centre of Lifelong Education. This evening
all seven were awarded the Certificate for Visual Arts.
The exhibition showcases artworks by members
of The Voices Student-Artist and Artist-in-Training
programme conducted by VSA. This year, members
were mentored by Tay Bee Aye and myself.
We have come a long way and each one of us has
more to contribute to Art Education and The Arts.

Permanent Display (2019) at Choa Chu Kang Bus Interchange, Singapore
The students of Very Special Arts (Singapore) were invited to create pieces for permanent display at newly opened Choa Chu Kang Bus Interchange, Singapore, with its official launch on 16th Feb 2019.
All the students made the effort to create them after a long day at school and over many weekends to meet a very tight deadline. They did this independently from sketch to canvas. They learnt to be open to feedback as the work progressed.
Among this group, there were three students who made their maiden-canvas-painting-experience. They were supported by their parents who took on the role of assistants and motivators.
At the end of it, the works came out AMAZING.
